Sally Hllouby

Syrian filmmaker, researcher and artist, born in Aleppo, Syria. MA student in Cinema and Television program at Anadolu University. Worked in research projects focused in migration, documentary filmmaking and recently in participatory filmmaking with Reel Border project. Traveled to Turkey in 2013 contributed to art exhibitions since and graduated from Cukurova University Radio Tv and cinema program focusing on the film field and contributing in several film projects. Her research covers issues of identity, ethnic, and memory through

autobiographical filmmaking. Her films are mostly in Arabic and focus on one's existential life experiences.
