Nermin, a Syrian mother in her late twenties approaching her thirties, lives in Turkey. She has a two-year-old daughter named Julie. Since 2011, Nermin has been studying psychology. However, due to the war and giving birth to her child while still at university, she faced challenges in completing her education and graduating.

Music has always been Nermin’s passion and refuge. She has been singing for as long as she can remember, and while she hasn't been able to refine her voice recently, singing brings peace to her and her child. Nermin is also striving to achieve financial independence by finding a job, but her inability to graduate at this age complicates her situation further.

One day, Nermin learns about a competition for artistic projects, including music, drawing, and expressive dance. Inspired by the opportunity to train her voice and reclaim music's place in her life, she decides to participate. However, dedicating her life to her daughter and her studies leaves her uncertain about what to sing or create for the competition.

Drawing inspiration from her daily life and her daughter's artistic projects, Nermin composes a song that tells her life story and submits it to the competition. A month later, she discovers that her project has won.

*Noon was a graduation project which screened in Cukurova University, Gaziantep University, and Gumusluk Academy as an example of women living in diaspora.
