"A Basket of Ribbons" is a short experimental documentary that highlights the work of seven Syrian women artists. Each artist draws inspiration from the same artwork, Charles Brun's 1869 painting A Basket of Ribbons. Individually, the artists analyze the painting and create their own interpretations, expressing what they believe the piece conveys through their unique artistic styles.
